"The Heart Desires VS. The Desires of Our Heart"

When we go to God in prayer, there is a posture and a way in which we should make our requests known. "The Heart Desires" often represent the things we long to see God bring to pass in our lives; our hopes, needs, and expectations. Yet our Heavenly Father, who knows us intimately, understands the needs of His sons, daughters, and children and does not withhold good gifts from those who love Him.
Jesus affirms this truth when He declares, If earthly fathers, though imperfect, know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more will our Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him (Matthew 7:11).
As we grow in our relationship with Christ, "The Desires of Our Heart" is the Heart of God, define through scripture, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). The difference is that in this process, we intentionally let go of shame, relinquish unresolved hurt, and confront areas of our lives that need improvement; these areas aligned with facts rather than God's truth. As we continue to build intimacy with Christ, we surrender our will for His will, trusting Him; The Holy Spirit , to lead us according to His (The Creator, God the Father) purpose. Like Jesus prayed, "Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42),
The ultimate desire is that our Creator (God the Father) be glorified and that His purpose
align with His eternal plan. THEN, all those things will be added (Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
